„The World according to Jørgen Leth” DVD box-set will be released on the occasion of Jørgen Leth's visit at the 8th PLANETE DOC festival. The filmmaker will be present at the festival between May 6th and May 8th. The schedule of his visit includes Q&A sessions following the filmmaker's most recent work, „Erotic Man”, as well as a meeting with Jan Nowicki, who played one of the leading roles in Leth's „Notes on Love” (1989). The meeting with the actor will be held at 12 PM on May 7 in the empik Junior mediastore and will include a promotion of the „World according to Jørgen Leth” DVD box-set. Immediately after the meeting, Leth's „Erotic Man” will have its premiere screening at 1:30 PM in Atlantic cinema. Both Leth and Jan Nowicki will attend the screening. The two meetings will be hosted by Michał Chaciński, reporter for TVP Kultura culture channel and the newly-appointed artistic director of the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.
„The World According to Jørgen Leth” is the second edition in the series „The World According to...”, which aims to present the best documentary films of the most prominent filmmakers. The first DVD box-set in the series was „The World According to Werner Herzog”, which was released on May 5, 2010 on the occasion of Herzog's visit at the 7th PLANETE DOC film festival.
