For the second time in the festival's history, PLANETE DOC will host Jørgen Leth, the iconic documentary and experimental filmmaker and mentor of Lars von Trier. The Danish director will present his newest autobiographical film – Erotic Man, which is a moving account of sexual melancholy of an aging man.

At this year's PLANETE DOC, the Danish filmmaker and Polish actor Jan Nowicki will reunite after more than 20 years (Nowicki starred in Leth’s 1989 film Notes on Love). The meeting will be hosted by Michał Chaciński, reporter for Polish Public Television culture channel “Kultura” and the newly-appointed artistic director of the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.

A DVD box-set with the Danish film-maker's best documentaries will be issued on the occasion of Jørgen Leth’s visit to Poland. This will be the second publication in “The World According to...” series – the first was a collection of films by Werner Herzog issued last year.

Jurgen Leth’s Erotic Man will have its Polish premiere at 10 PM on May 7 in Warsaw’s Atlantic cinema.
